Role and responsibilities
Since October 2022 Robert is appointed as a Head of Shopping Centre Leasing and Releasing for Czech Republic.
Work experience
Robert has more than 25 years of experience in various segments of real estate including development (leasing strategy and plans for shopping malls, identifying potential tenants, leasing negotiation), leasing of existing shopping centers (renewals, re-let) and asset management; in total, more than 2.5 mil sq m of GLA and 2,300 shops across the world – Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, India, United Kingdom and United States. He proved ability to think strategically and deliver profitable results.
Key assignements
Robert’s latest assignment was in India in INGKA Centres where he was responsible for leasing of 2 mixed use projects with expected development costs 900 mil. EUR and more than 250,000 sq m GLA.
Similar role he had during period 1998-2006 when he was Leasing director in MULTI Development responsible for development of 7 shopping centres like Westfield Chodov, Olympia Brno, Olympia Plzen or Olympia Olomouc.
During years 2008-2011 he act as Senior Asset manager in GE Real Estate Central Europe with responsibilities for assets in Slovakia, Czech republic and Bulgaria. This helps him to understand retail asset in full complexity.
He has also experience with leasing in running shopping centres (new tenants/re-leasing) due to working for Unibail Rodamco during period 2006-2008 in Czech Republic (Westfield Chodov, Centrum Cerny most and development of Arkady Pankrac) and also for INGKA Centres in Russia for existing projects (14 shopping centres in Russia with 2 mil GLA).
Robert has also experience with leasing involvement in projects before and just after acquisition – Kings Mall in London, 6×6 in San Francisco.
